Let’s make our Functional hot chocolate breakfast smoothie!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/4 cups (296ml) unsweetened milk of choice (we used almond milk)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 just-ripe banana (or 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats for a thicker smoothie)
  • 2 tablespoon unsweetened raw cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon maca powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of your favourite Mush Mush functional powder blend or 3 drops of Harmonious Reishi-O

PREPARATION

  1. Break up banana and place into blender.
  2. Place all other ingredients into blender making sure to add your Mush Mush powder after your milk.
  3. Blend on high until ingredients are combined.
  4. Enjoy!
  1. Add all ingredients to the blender bowl the night before and give it a good stir to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
  2. Cover and place in fridge for at least 3 hours, and preferably overnight.
  3. When ready to eat, blend on high until oats are fully broken down and a smooth and creamy consistency is reached.
